Symmetric multiqudit states: Stars, entanglement, and rotosensors

چکیده
A constellation of $N=d-1$ Majorana stars represents an arbitrary pure quantum state dimension $d$ or a permutation-symmetric system consisting $n$ qubits. We generalize the latter construction to represent in similar way symmetric $k$ subsystems with levels each. For $d\geq 3$, such states are equivalent, as far rotations concerned, collection various spin states, definite relative complex weights. Following Majorana's lead, we introduce multiconstellation, constellations above augmented by auxiliary, "spectator" constellation, encoding Examples stellar representations four qutrits, and two spin-$3/2$ systems, presented. revisit Hermite Murnaghan isomorphisms, which relate multipartite spins, number parties, even symmetries. show how tools introduced can be used analyze entanglement identify optimal rotosensors, i.e., maximally sensitive around specified axis, averaged over all axes.

متن کاملEntanglement of formation of rotationally symmetric states
Computing the entanglement of formation of a bipartite state is generally difficult, but special symmetries of a state can simplify the problem. For instance, this allows one to determine the entanglement of formation of Werner states and isotropic states. We consider a slightly more general class of states, rotationally symmetric states, also known as SU(2)-invariant states. These states are i...
متن کاملSeparability criteria and entanglement witnesses for symmetric quantum states
We study the separability of symmetric bipartite quantum states and show that a single correlation measurement is sufficient to detect the entanglement of any bipartite symmetric state with a non-positive partial transpose. We also discuss entanglement conditions and entanglement witnesses for states with a positive partial transpose.
متن کاملNon-classicality and entanglement of symmetric multiqubit states
Quantum vs classical conceptions of nature continue to draw attention from the early days of quantum theory. Understanding decisive quantum features for which no classical explanation exist and their interrelations is of foundational significance. Further, identifying non-classical features is important in information processing tasks as it offers insights as to why quantum protocols outperform...
